E-motion, Ya basta!, La liberté est l’oxygène de l’âme (2011)

É-motion, Ya basta!, La liberté est l’oxygène de l’âme is an interdisciplinary dance video created in collaboration with four incarcerated women at the Joliette provincial penitentiary, aimed at deconstructing prejudices and stereotypes about criminalized women and poverty. It was part of AGIR, a larger interdisciplinary art installation project that brought together 8 artists and 49 incarcerated women, presented at the Eastern Bloc art gallery, and which aimed to challenge prejudices and stereotypes about criminalized women and poverty.
